DMCA Policy
Last updated: February 12, 2025
Sefamurok respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of its platform to do the same. This Digital Millennium Copyright Act Policy describes how Sefamurok responds to notices of alleged copyright infringement and how you may submit a notice or a counter-notice.
1. Notification of Alleged Copyright Infringement
If you believe that content available on or through our platform infringes one or more of your copyrights, you may submit a written notice to our designated copyright agent. To be effective, your notice must include all of the following:
- A physical or electronic signature of a person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work or works claimed to have been infringed. If multiple works are covered by a single notification, a representative list of such works is sufficient.
- Identification of the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material on our platform.
- Your contact information, including your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or applicable law.
- A statement that the information in the notification is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are authorized to act on behalf of the owner of an exclusive right that is allegedly infringed.
2. Designated Copyright Agent

3. Our Response to Notices
Upon receipt of a valid and complete notice of alleged copyright infringement, Sefamurok will act expeditiously to remove or disable access to the material identified in the notice. We will also take reasonable steps to notify the user who posted the material that it has been removed or disabled.
We reserve the right to determine in our sole discretion whether a submitted notice satisfies the requirements described in this policy.
4. Counter-Notice Procedure
If you believe that material you posted was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification, you may submit a written counter-notice to our designated copyright agent. To be effective, your counter-notice must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.

- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the competent courts for the judicial district in which your address is located, or, if your address is outside of the relevant jurisdiction, any judicial district in which Sefamurok may be found, and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notice or an agent of such person.
5. Restoration of Removed Material
Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, Sefamurok will forward a copy to the original complaining party and inform them that the removed material may be restored or access to it may be re-enabled within ten (10) to fourteen (14) business days, unless the copyright owner files a legal action seeking a court order restraining the alleged infringer.
Sefamurok reserves the right, at its discretion, to restore access to removed material or to decline to restore it based on the circumstances of any individual case.
6. Repeat Infringer Policy
In appropriate circumstances, Sefamurok will terminate the accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of copyright. We define a repeat infringer as any user against whom Sefamurok has received more than one valid notice of copyright infringement, or who has otherwise demonstrated a pattern of infringing activity.
7. Misrepresentation
Be aware that submitting a notice or counter-notice with materially false information may expose you to liability for damages, including legal costs and attorneys' fees. If you are uncertain whether content is infringing, we recommend consulting with a qualified legal professional before submitting a notice.
8. Modifications to This Policy
Sefamurok reserves the right to modify this DMCA Policy at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting of the updated policy on our platform. Continued use of our platform following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
